This under the counter drinking water system purifies the water in 4 stages and has the great advantage that all three of its included drop-in filters provide antimicrobial action (NANOSILVER BACINIX technology. The water is cleaned of dirt and harmful substances by the antimicrobial filters and the ultrafiltration membrane, while minerals beneficial to the body remain in the purified water.

Functionality of the included filters
Filter 1 - 20 micron antibacterial pre-filter with NANOSILVER BACINIX technology: It removes contaminants larger than 20 microns such as rust, sand, sediment with 90% efficiency. The pre-filter made with nanosilver BACINIX ™ technology helps to kill bacteria and prevents the spread of mold. The blue color of the filter indicates that the filter has additional antibacterial protection.
Filter 2 - Granular activated carbon filter with silver in combination with KDF: It removes some heavy metals, some bacteria, phenols, neutralizes residual chlorine, removes odors and disintegrants, making the finest possible purified water. The granulated activated carbon filter is much more efficient than other types of carbon filters due to its granular structure.
Filter 3 - 5 micron antibacterial filter with NANOSILVER BACINIX technology: It removes contaminants larger than 5 microns with 90% efficiency. The filter is made with nanosilver BACINIX ™ technology that helps to kill bacteria and prevents the spread of mold. The blue color of the filter indicates that the filter has additional antibacterial protection.
Filter 4 - 0.02 micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane: The Economy UF membrane filters out small contaminants and its pore size is even suitable for removing some viruses and bacteria.

You can order from our online shop the above (set of 4) replacement filters and UF membrane pack by referencing the product code EW4-REPL.
It is advisable to replace the filters every 6-12 months depending from your water quality.
You can also replace/customised the existing filters with ones of your own choice at an extra cost (if applicable). For example you can replace the first pre-filter with 5 micron one and the 3rd one with a softening filter.
ATTENTION: Please note that the safe operation of the device requires proper professional filter replacement and maintenance.
