THIN10 DirectFlow (Tankless) R.O REVERSE OSMOSIS Water Filtration System

THIN10 DirectFlow (Tankless) R.O Water Filtration System

THIN10 is the new product of QualityWater Tech and is a direct flow reverse osmosis water system without a tank. It can provide the user a high-capacity purified water flow of 1.6L/min (THIN10-III model) or 2.2L/min (THIN10-II model). The superior quality of the materials/parts used and the sleek inside & outside design makes it a perfect solution for residential use. Because of its small thickness (only 99mm) and modern design, it can fit in tight places (e.g. under the sink) or be installed in a wall in plain sight.

THIN10 has a practical front panel opening system and integrated quick connection filters so it is easy to maintain and replace cartridges without any tools. Because of its leaking detection system and other security options subserve the comfortable and safety usage.

Owing to the unique construction, THIN10 is efficient and economical with its 60% recovery.  Our own innovated unique microprocessor controls the operation of the water purification system and it gives light signals about the function. If it is necessary also gives a beeping alarm.

The mobile application of THIN10 warns you when the cartridge replacement is due or there is a problem with your water system. Through the THIN10 app the customers and the local distributors can keep in touch. The warranty conditions, the user manual and other important information can also be found in the app.

The blending valve can help you to adjust your TDS levels to your desired value, depending from your needs. A TDS value between 80-150 ppm is recommended for an excellent quality drinking water.

  • ADDITIONAL INFO

    Two Different Water System options*:

    1. THIN10-II 800GPD (2x 400GPD CSM R.O membranes). Purified water flow rate: ~2.2L/min.
    2. THIN10-III 540GPD (3x 180GPD CSM R.O membranes). Purified water flow rate: ~1.6L/min.

*The measured data can vary according to the pressure, temperature and conductivity of your water supply.

    6-Stage Water Filtration System
The water is purified by the following filters:

    • 1st filter: 5-micron in-line PP filter, which removes sand, dirt, grit and sediment from your drinking water those are bigger than 5μm
    • 2nd filter: Granular activated carbon filter with silver and KDF55 which removes chlorine and chlorine derivatives and the significant part of organic contaminations from water, the silver and KDF55 increase the efficiency and give extra protection against viruses and germs.
    • 3rd, 4th, 5th filter: 3x osmosis membrane which is the most important part of the device.  Practically only water molecules can get through its 0.0001 μ sized pores so it removes 95% of all kind of contamination. The last of the R.O membranes (stage 5) can be removed and be replaced by a compo post-filter [e.g. Thin10-II].
    • 6th filter: Post-carbon and re-conditioning/mineralization filter.

Pressure Switches: The system is equipped with low and high pressure switches. The low pressure switch shuts off the pump when there is no inlet water or its pressure is too low. The high pressure switch shuts off the pump when the filtered water faucet is turned off.

Booster pump: it offers the advantages of favorable wastewater-treated water ratio, also operates in places with lower water pressure (smaller settlements, homesteads, 10th floor) and offers faster tank filling.

Faucet:  Designer faucet for filtered water is included and usually mounted on the sink deck or countertop for dispensing the clean, filtered water from the filtered water outlet of the main R.O. unit.

Drain Saddle: Fits a standard 1.5” diameter drain pipe to drain the waste water from the drain outlet of the pump box.

TDS Blending Valve: Many times there is the desire to raise the total dissolved solids (TDS) of our filtered water. This is due to the fact that the purified water produced by the reverse osmosis water systems have usually a TDS value of ~25-35 ppm. For the best drinking water quality and personal well-being it is recommended that the TDS value should be ~80-150ppm. To achieve a TDS value in that range we use a TDS blending (mixing) valve.

TDS blending is incredibly simple and involves mixing your filtered water (water filtered by the first two pre-filters: GAC and sediment) with the R.O water to achieve a TDS that's desirable to your needs and taste. Since the water sytem already includes the two pre-filters, the feed line between the pre-filter system and the R.O pump is tapped and as mentioned above the filtered water (not raw water), is mixed/blend with the purified R.O water in order to produce the desired TDS value.

The by-pass blending (mixing) valve installed in the device ensures the proper repatriation of the minerals. The set-up of the blending valve is recommended to be set by a specialist when installing the water purifier.

  • KEY FEATURES

    • Clean and safe drinking water right in your home. No need to transport and dispose of bottled water any more.
    • Factory-preinstalled filters and membrane for faster and easier setup.
    • Filters and membrane quick-change housings for easy regular maintenance.
    • Compact and beautiful design.
    • Automatic flush valve: for peak performance and healthier membrane. Powerful flush at the end of each water filtration cycle prevent the scale and debris buildup on the membrane outer surface.
    • Powerful booster pump increases pressure to radically improve the performance and effectiveness of the R.O. unit in all three key areas: increases filtered water flow (production rate), increases rejection rate (improves water purification quality), increases recovery rate (decreases amount of waste water).
    • Prolongs the membrane and pre-filter(s) service life due to increased recovery rate.
    • Fully automatic operation of the pump box unit: just open the faucet and get clean water instantly; automatic shut off and flush.
    • LED indicators: easily understand what the state of your R.O. unit is.
    • Quick fittings for easy tube connections and change of filters.
    • Water leakage detection
  • BENEFITS

Benefits of the THIN10 R.O System

    • The thinnest reverse osmosis system
    • Unique fine design inside and outside
    • High recovery rate
    • Easy cartridges replacement &  maintenance
    • No tank required
    • Tool not required to open front panel
    • Innovated smart processor
    • Filter change warning system
    • Leaking detector system
    • Mobile application

Benefits of the DirectFlow R.O. System

    • Powerful booster pump and high-production R.O. membrane make it possible to build a highend direct flow R.O. machine that offers high performance and water quality.
    • Freshness of water filtered in real time. No more stale water from a tank.
    • Virtually unlimited filtered water production. While conventional systems with tanks are limited by the tank capacity, and require prolonged timeouts to refill the tank, a direct flow system is limited by the membrane filtration rate only.
    • Instant and sustained filtered water flow. It doesn’t depend on how full the tank is, as it doesn't need one to work.
    • Space-saving, compact installation since tank is not needed.
    • Better water purification quality due to improved contaminant rejection rate.
    • Typically, up to three times less water is wasted per gallon of filtered water, compared to the conventional tank and water storage systems, this is due to the much higher efficiency (recovery) rate. Saves you money and Planet Earth’s water resources!
    • Lower cost of ownership due to prolonged service life of pre-filters and membrane, which is in turn a result of higher efficiency rate: less water is treated overall by pre-filters and the membrane for each gallon of permeate produced. This saves the capacity of pre-filters and ensures either less frequent change necessity or better purification.
    • Less number of components leads to better reliability.
